Hi,
somebody ever seen the situation, that a "win xp pro computer" gets the right Ip adress (192.168.182.xxx) and also the right dns adress from chillispot, and this computer still is not able to access the login page after startup from Internet Explorer. Proxies are all deactivated. All other computers like Mac, Linux, Vista, xp home edition have no problems to get the redirect. This already happend to two xp pro computers.

Interesting detail: When i type in the exact ip adress into the adress field, I get access to the page (login must be performed through chillispot).
So there must be a DNS Problem on the xp pro. All the other systems work proper.

Also already did ipconfig /flushdns; it did not solve the problem. Firewalls and virus protection were also deactivated.
Could there be a problem with the "hosts" file?

Somebody got an idea what could have happened here?

Thanks in advance!

Already wrote this in Radius forum, brcause I do not know on which side the problem starts (chillispot or Radius)

almost getting nuts with following problem. We are using Freeradius 1.1.3 Server and chillispot White Russian.
The system used to run very stable, but sometimes we have the following problem:

Although the radius server is telling Auth: OK the chillispot gives the response "Login failed".

This is standing in the logs from the radius:

"Mon Nov 24 19:44:37 2008 : Auth: Login OK: [68710802/jovigedi] (from client allclients port 0 cli 00-1E-52-71-22-EC)"

As I said before the user cannot login. We have no idea what is happening, because sometimes it is working without any troubles. Has anyone got an idea, what is happening here? We really have no ideas anymore!!!

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
we are running a few hotspots, and we have in our radius database differen Users, which are able to print tickets.
We have
user1
user2
user3 and so on.
Al these users have different passwords.

Every user can print tickets, and all the tickets work on every chillispot access point, because they are roaming.
I am wondering about if it is possible, that for example the tickets, which are made by user1 would "only" work with access point (wrt54gl) number 1, and so on.
We still want to use on all the wrt54 the same chillispot firmware!

I hope there would be a way in the radius configuration to set this up.
We already tried to set up a few radius server in parallel. This also woks fine, but it is to much work!

Does anybody got an idea if such configuration could be possible???

Thanks for your answears
