Topic: Chillispot and WDS are not cooperating with each other

I have a linksys WRT54GL with DD-wrt v23 sp2 running on it. Chillispot works fine by itself on this router. when I introduce WDS and 1 or more routers/ access points, I get clients that are kicked off when they are trying to download at the same time.
For example, when clients A,B, and C are connected to a remote WDS node, they all get an IP from Chillispot and can surf the web ok. Yet when they simultaneously download large files, all but 1 of them can do it. the rest have to wait till the other is done it seems. It doesn't seem like they are saturating the network.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Are you sure you not have any DHCP servers running on the other WDS access points ?

All of the WDS routers have DHCP disabled. Each router has it's own SSID and separate LAN IP. They should let the chillispot host router do the work. Again, it doesn't seem as though they are losing a DHCP lease, just the connection.

Maybe you should to enable STP on each router?

Spanning Tree is the answer, but have you tried Virtual Access Points using Atheros MadWIFI ??

ath0+eth0=BR0 uplink Adhoc + ethernet + OLSR (olsr.org) -
ath1+2+3+4+5+6++eth1,2,3 = AP with ESSID's different? WPA or WEP or open and chilli do WPA-Radius? in another bridge call it BR1 wink

then chilli.conf    dhcpif=br1

get pyramid linux - it does all this

Oh and you cant have a router in the picture unless they are on a different bridge / subnet to the chilli IP range, it just dont work. chilli wants to give your AP's an IP if the can hear - answer is block port 67 on your Routers from direct request... VLAN here helps. .
